How a private label program works

A private label program puts your store's name on deli meats, cheeses and salads made for you. Here's how a program with Longview comes together.

1. Tell us about your stores

We start with how many locations you have, what your deli case sells today, and where you want to stand apart: a better turkey, a signature roast beef, salads your customers can't get anywhere else, or a full line under your name.

2. Choose your products

Pick from Longview's deli meats, cheeses and salads, from oven-browned and no-pump turkeys and USDA Choice roast beefs to Genoa salame, deli cheeses and house-style salads. You can start with a few anchor items or build out the whole case.

3. Customize

Custom products and private labeling are Longview's specialty. We can customize any product or a full line of deli products to meet your needs, and every package carries your name and your look.

4. Confirm the details

Minimums, timing and pricing depend on the products and how far you customize them, so we confirm them for your program directly rather than quoting one-size-fits-all numbers.

5. Launch and grow

Your line goes into the deli case under your name. As customers respond, it's easy to add products or extend the line to more stores.

Made with care

Longview's deli meats, cheeses and salads are produced in state-of-the-art, HACCP-certified processing facilities. For what HACCP means and why it matters to a deli buyer, see our guide.
